STILL-LIFE ART CREATED USING REAL FLOWERS, INSECTS AND FORAGED MATERIALS

I put a lot of care into making my still-life pieces. Each item is carefully placed by hand, and I use real insects, flowers, and other foraged materials to create unique fine art pieces. They're perfect for adding a touch of curiosity to any home!

ABOUT ME

I've always had a deep love for all creatures, especially insects. When I was a kid, I used to make little homes for them, collect all sorts of critters, and give them cute names. I adore their unique beauty and the surprises they bring, from their fuzzy bodies to their delicate antennae.

Since becoming a mom and transitioning from my previous career, I've been on a journey of self-discovery. I've dabbled in various art forms, as you can see on my Instagram. Then, one day, I stumbled upon insect pinning. It was like a light bulb went off – I could take a gorgeous little beetle and create something new with it. This rekindled the curiosity and wonder I had as a child.

I've also ventured into the world of drying flowers and preserving their beauty. It hasn't been an easy road. I've faced setbacks, wanted to throw in the towel, and even ruined some of my favorite dried flowers. But here I am, feeling more confident in creating these one-of-a-kind pieces that bring together flowers, insects, and materials from nature.

This art represents a part of myself that I thought was lost, and it feels amazing to have rediscovered it. I can't wait to continue this journey, grow my skills, and make even more beautiful and captivating pieces.
