From the first time we had the chance to chat with Lauren and Matt we knew that they were pretty awesome! Not only are they fun to spend time with, but they are a husband and wife photography team too!!! Lauren + Matt own the amazing Morrissey Photo and they are awesome at what they do! Our socks were knocked off when they asked if we would capture their little family of three and then some of just the two of them. What could be better!?! And we just love photographing other photographers :) Here is a little preview from yesterday’s shoot. More to come soon! Enjoy <3

When we want an awesome engagement shoot what do we think? Old abandoned farm house of course, and a great freaking’ couple as well. :) Joanne and Joe are a way adventurous couple who accompanied us into one of the coolest most inspiring locations we have ever shot at. This old house was nestled off the road in…well we can’t really divulge that location ;-) but…well look at how freaking awesome this place is.

This house was super cool, and going from the basement to the top was simply awe inspiring. We found old trinkets from the people who had lived their previously, old hardware everywhere, and an attic that reminded us exactly of Edward Scissor Hands. Peeling wallpaper and broken windows, we have never been in a location so freaking sweet. All four of us barely talked we were just so enchanted by where we were and the adventure we were on. Except for all the crazy odd colored mud on the property it was literally perfect, and Joanne and Joe only gave us the awesome factor for these photos, and we couldn’t have done it without them.

These two were awesome. No fear, and way open for getting the best shots possible. We were all so happy to explore this great location, talk, and just have a great adventure.  These two were super cute and loving, and combined with such a great place to shoot I think the photos speak for themselves. We were all wicked dusty by the end but all four of us had a great shoot and a great time. We want to thank Joanne and Joe for being such a terrific couple, and adventuring with us for such a great shoot. Thank you Joanne and Joe you guys rock! We are so excited and cannot wait for your wedding. Enjoy <3

Yesterday Ryan and I had the biggest pleasure of photographing a couple who when we first met them we spent 3 hours chatting about zombies, comics, Star Wars and everything in between Needless to say we were super excited to be chatting with these two again and not only hanging out with, but capturing their love as well! We had such a blast and we are excited to share a little preview of their session! Enjoy <3

You may remember Natalie and Mark’s snowy engagement shoot from January, well meet part 2 engagement session with the exceptionally phenomenal Birdhouse Productions, and it could not have been more different than the first. Rocking out in the Allen Theater these two hip cats put on a stylized shoot to make their save the dates truly epic. (We know we cannot wait for ours!) These two were rocking some sweet duds and rocking even sweeter tunes to get into the right mindset for the shoot. Their shoot had absolutely everything from old vinyl records (they do sound better!), drums, guitars, mics, beehives, and old albums too…we were inspired and ready to go.

Natalie and Mark are so truly inspiring from the true love that they share to the amazing films they capture and the beautiful wedding show they put together. It’s hard not to be in their presence and not get excited and ready to take on the world! We couldn’t be more excited to have captured not only 1 engagement session for these two but 2 awesome engagement shoots. What makes this shoot even more special is the fact that Natalie worked at the Allen Theater in high school, through college and even screened some of her films there! And that sexy drum set you see, is actually her dad’s set from his band playing days! How freaking cool is that, and now you know that pure talent and musical skills run in the family. It’s the little things added to this shoot that make it so much more special and add so much more meaning.

We need to thank Natalie and Mark for coming up with such a killer concept for us to be such and integral part in. They had everything ready to go in such a great location that, frankly, we were pretty blown away. Their impromptu songs made us laugh while we shot away, and added that little something extra to really make the shoot pop :) . We want to again thank Natalie and Mark for honoring us with allowing us to shoot their second engagement session(lucky! who gets two engagement sessions?) So, without further ado here and ready to rock are Natalie and Mark!

We have been waiting for forever to shoot our great friends Natalie and Mark of Birdhouse Productions. These two were absolutely amazing on a snowy blizzard-y morning. We had a ball simply walking around, hanging out and taking great pictures in the snow. These two were inspired by an album Jill loves, a collection of Christmas carols redone by She and Him, and everything turned out even better than we could have ever hoped for.

Not only did these two cats have  a great time, but their dogs Mabel and Riot were allowed to come out and play in the snow as well.  Natalie and Mark explored, danced, and just strait up had a blast braving the frigid outsides all while looking pretty freaking fantastic. We are so happy the way our snowiest shoot EVER went down. Jill may have had to do some acrobatics to come up with her great shots but it was all worth it in the end. :)

We want to thank Natalie and Mark so much for allowing us to come out and spend such a spectacular snow filled morning with them. We all simply had an incredible blast goofing off and seeing the love that these two wonderful and talented people share. We are so excited to have shot these two in a spectacular setting, and we cannot wait to show their engagement shoot part 2, and more than that we are so super duper freaking awesomely excited to shoot their wedding coming up. Thank you again you two crazy kids, you are absolutely inspiring!

Saturday we enjoyed the company of Beth + Josh, capturing their love while surrounded by mother nature… mosquitoes and all ;) Here is a preview from their session. We cannot wait to share the rest! Enjoy.

We had a good number of snowy shoots this year and it was a little bit of a surprise when we woke up and saw that we were going to be photographing Katie + Byron’s engagement session in the snow as well. We’ll be honest though the snow is probably one of our favorite types of weather to capture love in. Something about the snow flakes and the schunggling that makes snowy winter days perfect to capture the love a cute couple in. Katie and Byron are such a relaxed couple, they were up for anything that we threw at them.

Capturing their love was a joy and a pleasure, chatting with these two during their session and enjoying their company, we had such a great time. Their quiet little location made for some great winter photos from their berry filled trees to the huge evergreens we had a nice assortment of locations to capture these two in front of! Not to mention they were just adorable and so full of love for one another!

Thank you so much Katie + Byron for spending time with us and letting us get to know you both and share in your love. You two are such a great couple and we wish you both the best on your wedding day! We know it will be truly beautiful and you both will look amazing! Hope you enjoy the photos :)

Recently, we had a shoot with one of the most energetic and fun loving couples, Erica and Dustin. We photographed them at a cute park right by their home and we had an absolute blast from there on out! They showed us their rocking karate kicks, and a lot of love in front of the cameras which made for some amazing and heartwarming photos. During one shot, Ryan even almost went for a polar bear plunge in the river, luckily enough we stayed dry for this shoot and camera is still intact! These two were so awesome and walked with us all over Carlisle while we got great shots of them goofing around and just being plain old cute. ;) A fantastic shoot from start to finish.

There is something so refreshing about getting to meet such a fun, lovely, easy going couple that you can just chat with for hours. We knew that we had a great connection with these two from the first time we spoke on the phone, not holding back any punches and just laughing the entire time. Erica and Dustin are so adorable and we both cannot express just how excited we are to be able to capture their love not only in an engagement session but on their wedding day as well. We know that their day will be so amazing and filled with little handmade details by Erica herself [starting with the awesome invitation we received!]. We are looking forward to many more laughs with these two.

Thank you so much Erica + Dustin for letting us capture your love and get to know you both more. We are so excited to be capturing your wedding and know that it will be just as much fun [if not more] then your engagement session. Hope that they second batch of jelly comes out awesome ;) Enjoy!

Freak snow storms in October equals an awesome wedding in October :) We were lucky enough to capture Ty and Frances’ wedding this October amidst the incredible back drop of fiery leaves and cool snow. These two were awesome, and with their families we had a great day. Everyone was dressed to the nines in tuxes and gowns, and had a blast. It was so fun to walk around the snowy grounds of the Hotel Hershey and capture the fun between Ty and Frances, and even though there was a foot of snow on the ground they were super open to getting the best pictures possible! Blue Heron Flowers & Event Planning did such an amazing job with decorating the ceremony and reception location everything was picture perfect!

These two families had even more fun with Latin and Jewish dances at their reception then we could have ever thought possible. :) It had everything you could think of, the Hora, people on chairs, and one fantastic conga line. Even though the snow could have put a damper on everyone’s spirits we saw so much love and happiness that it didn’t matter what the weather was outside.

Thank you Francis and Ty for allowing us to capture the love between you two and the love your families were able to share, despite what the weather was outside! It was so amazing to be a part of your special day and see the love you two and your entire family shared. Thank you again so much, we had an absolute blast!

Katherine + Landon, where do we start… They are kind, sweet, funny, welcoming, easy going, but most of all they are so in love with each other! From how they look at each other to the way they can just make each other laugh almost instantly. These two were so amazing to photograph, their chemistry was truly beautiful! It gets even better, we will be capturing their wedding this year too! How exciting!

For their engagement session we took a trip to Philadelphia where we walked around Broad Street, hung out at Rittenhouse Park, checked out Independence Hall and even road in our first Philadelphia taxi, exciting right? All while capture these two in their natural element and being crazy in love with each other. We even did a very little bit of night shooting [which we typically do not do but were more then happy to give it a try for these two :) ]. We had such a great time chatting and photographing Katherine and Landon, and couldn’t be more thrilled to share the images with everyone.

Katherine + Landon, thank you so much for allowing us to share in your love for each other. You two are so seriously adorable and photographing you was so much fun! We are more then excited to be able to capture your wedding in the fall and know you both will look and be amazing :) . Every time we hear anyone talk about a femur bone we always think of you two ;) Hope you both enjoy the images! <3
