Last Friday we finally had the chance to meet Keidi and Tom, two lovely photographers out of Camp Hill Pennsylvania! We had a blast capturing these two and talking shop with them. Be sure to check out their site and awesome work: Tom and Keidi Photography. Enjoy the preview
We enjoyed our Saturday capturing Olivia + Steve’s beautiful wedding! It was hard to pick just a few for a preview but here are a couple of our favorites. Enjoy!
Thank you so much Lauren and Todd for showing us around Philly and some cool new locations! We had a blast walking around, getting to know you both and capturing your love. Capturing your wedding is going to be a blast! Enjoy the photos <3
We have decided that instead of writing long blog posts that we want our images to speak for themselves, so today we are going to keep it short. We had such an amazing time capturing Courtney + Chris’s engagement session, these two are some of the sweetest people we have met and we couldn’t be more excited to be capturing their wedding in June. Thanks Courtney + Chris for being SO amazing, kind and supportive, you have touched our hearts in so many ways and we feel so blessed to call you one of our couples! Onto the images, enjoy <3
We should probably start this off by saying that we specialize in couples and weddings, we truly do not intend on expanding our company to include family sessions, babies or children [at this point in time]. With that said when our one of our favorite husband and wife photography teams asks us to do a family session with them we of course are more then happy to, but we did forewarn them that their photos with Quinn might not turn out haha. Morrissey Photo is probably one of our favorite photography teams, they are so sweet, so open and just such a joy to be around. Lauren and Matt asked us if we would capture their adorable family as well as images of just the two of them for promotional purposes. We were so totally flattered and over the moon by this, we truly look at Matt and Lauren as such an inspiration, their images are always beautiful and have such a romantic feel to them. It’s hard not to fall in love with each session they post. We knew we had a challenge on our hands that we were more then happy to take on, this is only our second family session to photograph and the last one was well maybe 3 years ago! Crazy right!
Matt, Lauren and Quinn just had so much love, care and compassion for each other they were so much fun to photograph. Not to mention they are just goofy and we love that! They made a family session so much fun and so enjoyable. Letting Quin run around and do his own thing, he kept us on our toes and laughing the entire time
In the end we couldn’t be more happy with how this session ended up turning out. We are so proud of these images and are so excited to not only have shared them with Matt and Lauren but to share them with all who check out our blog. Maybe one day we will actually start capturing more families
Thank you so so so much Matt + Lauren for asking us to capture you, your family and your love. We had such an amazing time and couldn’t be more happy to have had the opportunity to capture you three and get to know you better! Let’s do it again! Enjoy <3
Saturday we had the pleasure of spending some time with Rita and Joe, capturing their love and their laughs. If you couldn’t tell these two cuties are so totally in love! They were a joy to capture and afterwards we even enjoyed Cinco De Mayo with them
Couldn’t have been a better day! Enjoy a preview of these two love birds!
Here was a couple that we couldn’t wait to shoot their engagement! Colleen and Ross are one of a kind. We joined them for a fun and memory filled tour of their Alma matter Drexel University. She went for graphic design, and he went for music industry, which is pretty sweet. They walked around showing us which building was what, where they used to hang out, and the coolest/ crazy places that are down there. Yep, that even includes the Chili’s on top strip club on bottom…go figure
oh, and all the bars. We had such a great time walking around with them and getting to chat, and oh yeah capturing some amazing photos! (see below) The chemistry between these two is simply awesome. There was even the possible attempt to cartwheel in high-heels which is totally possible, but that’s a different story.
We always have a great time hanging out with these two, and we ended up after the shoot at our usual Philly haunt of El Vez, again yum! Then a quick trip over to Sweet Freedom vegan bakery to conclude a fantastic shoot and day.
Thank you so much Colleen and Ross for being awesome and for being who you are. We cannot wait to photograph your wedding where we know there will be excitement, star wars, zombies, and all sorts of other zany fantasticness that always seems to comes from you guys!
Ryan and I always love going to Philadelphia for sessions and weddings, there always seems to be a new unexplored amazing location to photograph. Lauren + Todd showed us around an area that we have never been before, while we all chatted about art, life and captured their love. We had such a great time with them and are excited to share a preview from their engagement session! Enjoy <3
Sunday we had a blast in New Hope photographing this fun goofy couple!!! Not to mention there were sheep and farm animals involved! What could be better???? So here is a little preview of what is to come
ENJOY!
We couldn’t be more excited to be sharing Adriene and Kyle’s leap day wedding on our blog today. Nothing sets up a wedding for an awesome day like choosing to have your anniversary every four years
But if you know this quirky fun loving couple then you know that it is a rather fitting day. Adriene and Kyle are such an awesome couple full of love and just fun to hang around with. From their fun sense of humor to just how open they are, we had a blast capturing their day, their love and the love that they share with their friends and family.
We started off their day at a pretty cool pet friendly hotel in Philadelphia called the Hotel Palomar, where we were able to capture Adriene getting ready and even her sweet pup Ludo. Ludo of course stole the show with those adorable big brown eyes, how could you not fall in love with him. From the view out the windows to the beautiful interaction between Adriene, her mother and sister, Hair by Brianna Adams and Makeup by April Chatman-Royce the morning started off pretty great. Our videographer pal Natalie Fava of Birdhouse Productions was there by our side capturing all of the joy, love and goofy faces [as you will see below] which always means an awesome creative collaboration. Plus nothing gets better when you have a bouquet that is the brain child of the super talented Sullivan Owen Floral and Event Design. Did we mention that Adriene works with Sullvian helping her create those amazing bouquets that you see?!? They also put together some fun and funky boards in the ceremony location that almost looked like they were apart of the room. So keep an eye out for those beauty’s below.
With such an amazing creative team working to help make and capture Adriene and Kyle’s wedding we just knew it was going to be awesome to capture, rain or no rain. We headed to Philadelphia’s Magic Gardens, a location the looks like it is straight out of a story book. With so many things to see and hidden objects you could easily get lost for hours in there. Isaiah Zagar the artist behind Philadelphia’s Magic Gardens and a few murals that you see around Philadelphia is truly inspiring. Using every day objects to create master pieces that always catch our eye when we are in Philly. If you have never been there be sure to stop by next time you are in the city, it’s worth checking out
This location was a beautiful set up for their wedding, and made for an even more fun first look! Keeping them separated from each other in little tunnels waiting for the big reveal. The fun didn’t end there, Kyle wowed their wedding guests with his yoyo skills and even did a mini Q&A which kept the group smiling and laughing until it was time for the ceremony.
After the ceremony was over guests enjoyed chatting, champagne and exploring in the Philadelphia’s Magic Gardens until it was time to travel over to El Vez, an amazing Mexican restaurant in Philadelphia. If you love Mexican food and Guacamole, this is a place for you!!! Filled with some awesome decor and an amazing drink list it’s a great place to sit down, relax and enjoy some delicious food. It’s a place that we always want to stop at when we are in the city now. Ps. their guacamole is made to order and will blow your mind!
Adirene and Kyle invited their guest to enjoy a small reception afterwards at El Vez and April even made an awesome plant cake for them to enjoy. They also had a little photobooth fun while they were there.
Adriene and Kyle, we cannot thank you both enough for starting off our wedding season the right and perfect way. Your day was so much fun to capture and so beautiful, truly inspiring. You both are so much fun to be around and such a great couple. We both wish you the best with your marriage and cannot wait to see you both again
Hope that you enjoy your images as much as we did taking them. <3
